‘This body of work, “Si Dios Quiere” (If God Wants) explores issues of intimacy and distance within my mother’s family in Argentina.  The house where she grew up and the people who are part of that life serve as characters.’

A varying body of work from Katrina d’Autremont. The really interesting images for me are the ones where she has distanced herself from the subject.  It highlights the distance or lack of between the individual and the surroundings or the company they keep.  Sure the effect would be even better off screen.  Some of the close up still life’s are pleasent to look at, but get quite lost in catalogue of ‘seen it before’.
