Dutch photographer Roger Cremers is this year’s winner in the World Press Photo category Arts and Entertainment Stories with his series on tourists in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

It’s quite a surreal, yet perhaps a disturbingly unsurprising result of tourism and ‘entertainment’ manifesting within the horrific environment of concentration camps.
