For me the highlight of the Falmouth Photographic Symposium 2009 was listening to David Williams.  Whether it was because I relate to his recent practice and approach or perhaps he is just an incredibly thoughtful and engaging speaker.  I like his humaneness – not overly theoretical – just honest.  He spoke about intuition.  He spoke about images of his family.  This is a picture of his son.  I see the same meditative stillness in this image as is apparent in his recent series ‘88 Places’.
